Van A naar Eerder" : using AI to detect accidents on the Dutch highways

The best results in fast and practical deployment of AI systems usually involve a smart combination of human intelligence and machine intelligence. We present a project (‘Van A naar Eerder’) going live in the Netherlands where an AI system will save millions of traffic jam costs through faster detection of accidents. From conception to implementation within six months, and a clear roadmap to double the gains in the near future.
