Design a management system to enable operators and managers working with the 3D metal printer in the metal printing industry to monitor the production of parts and act accordingly both on site and remotely.
We wanted to create a system made for the people who work with 3D metal printers to monitor these printers and the process they are going through. We want to give the users a simple way to see if something is going wrong or if something needs to be done. This can be done on site but also remotely. With the addition of notifications an operator can also be notified if something is wrong.
During the implementation phase we created a prototype. We iterated on this multiple times with feedback from the client, target audience and teachers.
